Today I have recieved an email from a job I had applied. They said that I had to undertake a brief, like other applicants, to be able to make a decision. OK. I have my portfolio but is not enough. With this email was attached a document I had to sign giving them the ownership of the work for the brief and every work I made in the future on their behalf just for a pound. Really? Sign this for one pound? If I got the job I can sign this with a job contract. But if I don't get the job, can they use my brief material as they want? I didn't agree and I sent them the letter that heads this post.

Hoy he recibido un email de un trabajo que había solicitado. Decían que tenía que acometer un brief, como otros solicitantes, para poder tomar la decision. Vale. Tengo mi portfolio pero no es suficiente. Con este correo venía adjunto un documento que tenía que firmar, dándoles la propiedad de los derechos del trabajo para el brief y de todo el trabajo que hiciera para ellos en el futuro por una libra. ¿En serio?, ¿Firmar eso por una libra?. Si consigo el trabajo puedo firmar eso junto a mi contrato, pero si no lo consigo, ¿pueden usar el material que les envíe para el brief como elllos quieran? No estuve de acuerdo y les envié la carta que encabeza este post.
